To sign on and gain access to sending & receiving emails from the SALT-CNY listserv, send any email to salt-cny-subscribe@lists.riseup.net<\/a>. Note the -subscribe <\/em><\/strong>part of the address in salt-cny-subscribe<\/strong><\/em>@lists.riseup.net<\/em> which differs from the usual listserv address itself, just for the subscription process.

An example of how to subscribe: if I want to sign on to the listserv with my email address gardening108@gmail.com, I would send any message from that address to salt-cny-subscribe@lists.riseup.net. Below is just one example:<\/p>\n

FROM: gardening108@gmail.com <your email>\r\nTO: salt-cny-subscribe@lists.riseup.net\r\nSUBJECT: subscribe <or any other text of your choosing>\r\nCONTENT: sign me up! <or any other text of your choosing>\r\n<\/pre>\n
The important thing is our listserv’s special subscription address receiving an email from the address you’re signing up from. Once the subscription request is received, you’ll receive a confirmation\/verification message automatically, and will receive a follow up message from a list moderator.<\/p>\n

This mailing list is public, maintained by The Alchemical Nursery Project and hosted on RiseUp.net<\/a>, both non-profit organizations that run on mutual aid. We are interested in collaborating with like-minded groups who would like to support the listserv by spreading the word about it, making regular use of it, and moderating it – if your organization is interested, or if you as an individual would like to get more involved, please contact us by emailing info@alchemicalnursery.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
